Boeing performs 96 practice runs with 737 MAX update
Dennis Muilenberg, the CEO of Boeing told amid an introduction that 96 practice runs were done with the update of the Boeing 737 MAX. During a presentation in the American city of Dallas, Muilenberg said that Boeing has conducted 96 test flights with the 737 MAX aircraft operating system upgrade. Muilenberg himself also took place in a 737 during such a test flight. Muilenburg also said Thursday that the company has organized worldwide flight simulator sessions with pilots and authorities to demonstrate the new software and associated changes. The Boeing 737 Max is on the ground worldwide after two almost identical crashes in Indonesia and Ethiopia. In addition, sensors provided incorrect information that pushed the nose of the device down.
