Frontier Airlines adds 18 non-stop routes, including new flights to El Salvador, Guatemala, and the Caribbean
The Denver-based low-cost carrier, Frontier Airlines who offers cheap plane tickets and a pile of additional fees, is expanding again. This airline company announced that they are ready to offer 18 new non-stop routes and include seven previously announced routes out of Newark International Airport which began serving its passenger in November right after Southwest Airlines exit.
Frontier Airlines’ new flights include its first service to Guatemala and El Salvador plus a big boost on its flights out of Miami which is a known hub for American Airlines. Frontier airlines also served various destinations in Central America though its service to Costa Rica has since then ended.
Besides, there will be offering two new destinations in the Dominican Republic namely to Santo Domingo and Santiago. It has been serving Punta Cana and fortunately next spring, to add Newark-Punta Cana route. Currently, the airline has not provided any details yet about the flight.
Frontier Airlines is seen to regularly experiments several new routes especially those being offered on a seasonal basis with flights a few times a week. This airline company completely pull them out if the bookings don’t meet the expectations.
Just like its fellow low-cost carriers, Spirit Airlines and Allegiant, it also charges its passengers for carry-on bags and even soft drinks on the plane. The said fee is above the typical airline charges for check-in luggage.
Frontier Airlines’ new flights to and from Miami International Airport includes flights to Austin Texas, Baltimore/Washington International Airport, El Salvador International Airport, Guatemala City La Aurora International Airport, Long Island (New York) MacArthur Airport, Ontario International Airport, California, Santo Domingo Airport, Costa Rica, and Trenton-Mercer Airport, New Jersey.
It also serves El Salvador International Airport and San Juan, Puerto Rico with its flights commencing to and from Baltimore/Washington International Airport. It also flies to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and Santiago, the Dominican Republic with its flight to and from Newark, New Jersey. If you’re coming from Ontario International Airport in Canada, it offers flights to El Salvador, Las Vegas, and Guatemala. Lastly, if you’re flying to Boston, Chicago O’Hare International Airport, and Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, there are available flights at San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Indeed, Frontier Airlines is pursuing its goal to expand its services and add new routes and destinations while still offering cheap and affordable plane tickets to its passengers.
